The future of Ogre

As you may have read or heard today,

Kander has posted this on the EQ2 forum: https://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/index.php?threads/3rd-party-programs.544482/#post-6024060

Using 3rd party programs to get character ID's for use in macros is not okay. Due to the holidays, we were unable to address this in a timely manner. Consider any use previous to this post a freebie.

We will be taking action against those who abuse this in the future.

What will this mean for us Ogre users ?
Is this just the threat or is this the end for Boxers ?

I take it as a reminder to not be a fucking idiot. As far as I can tell, "someone" was running twitch stream at a raid and showed they got the ID from using a 3rd party tool (IE: isxeq2).

Personally, I think they should just ban this person and move on.

As for 'what it means', who knows. Hopefully it is just a reminder to be smart about what we do.
