question about IRC

heyas,

I may be in the wrong place to ask this, but for the past week or so, every time I try to go to the IRC site, I get the regular screen saying to pick my nickname, then it gets stuck on connecting to server. I've uninstalled everything that I had installed, all 1 program which had nothing to do with the web. I've gried Firefox and the infernal IE, getting ready to try chrome, but so far nothing else has worked, always get connecting to server and never connects.

You best bet is to download a free IRC client. The IRC link through the webpage has a max number, 10 I think, and fills up quick.
