Here's my dirge profile. similar to my ranger, forced named ca's is off on purpose. dps has been moderate with this, 400k up to 1mil depending on the fight. mainly specced for buffs and debuffs.

For single group fights with dirge,one shall go for buffs and debuffs?What about dmg for VC?Or gain from vc isnt in general that big?

VC is in there too, but I made this profile new for running Dominion with. Need the debuffs to reduce the incoming damage, plus buffs to increase outgoing is always good.

Oh, and I am not using the VC options under the dirge tab. It is under named CA's due to the recast timer so that I have it up for named fights.

What i asked,in long term run,group benefits more form moderate dps buff/debuff dirge,or 1m+ dps VC uber parsing dirge ?(guild my ranger is in has one 1M+ parsing raiding dirge,heroic geared though,we only killed 2 names in AS so far)

I'm having problems seeing the Dirge Profile. When I open the file it doesn't load or look like the other files.

Might seem a silly question, but you are opening the XML file right? I just downloaded what I had posted and its downloading and displaying properly for me.

Thought I had answered this but noticed my reply isn't there. So the only thing that could be done to increase VC would be taking the left prestige side I think. I haven't played around with that side yet and will give it a shot, but otherwise I feel the role of a dirge is to help increase group dps while debuffing the mob. I'll play around with left side and let you know how it works out.

mig; if you're comfortable opening the xml in notepad or whatever, the file's missing a closing </Set> at the end, before </InnerSpaceSettings>.
