HOW TO: Reset MCP to Default
Posted: 27 Feb 2018, 17:29As of 2/27/2018, I just did a complete overhaul of the default MCP. All this means is when new users (or anyone following the steps below), will have a more modern MCP, with buttons that are more suitable to today's users, without having to make as many changes to customize it.
If you are a new user, or this is a fresh install, it will automatically copy the default MCP for you.
If you are an existing user and want to try out the updated default MCP, do the following:
Navigate to the following folder:
Innerspace/scripts/EQ2OgreBot/MCP/
RENAME the file: MCPCustomSettings.xml
To something else, such as: MCPCustomSettings.old.xml
We're renaming incase you want to revert back to your current one.
One the file is renamed, simply load MCP (such as: ogre mcp)
And it will use the new default. You can immediately make changes to it any way you see fit.
If you want to revert back to the one you just had a few minutes ago, you can do the following:
Rename (or delete, since you don't want it): MCPCustomSettings.xml
Rename: MCPCustomSettings.old.xml to MCPCustomSettings.xml
Then reload MCP again (such as: ogre mcp)
