Debuff request

Hi Kannkor,

Could it be possible to add a new type for V17, Debuff and maybe DebuffNamed. Also add a check box in setting to disable them. First that would help visually to see your debuff spell in the cast tab. It would be also easy to activate or deactivate your debuff spells. When you fight trash mob you dont really need debuff and by disabling them you can improve your DPS. Just an idea.

Thanks.

Unlikely to happen. There is no way of telling what someone considers a 'debuff' vs a 'ca'. I'm not going to hardcode abilities to reflex one of the two either... :)

Hi,

you dont have to hard code the abilities, each person can choose if an abilities is CA or debuff when they add it to the tab.

Problem is with that, how do you recognise in the export whether an ability is a CA or a debuff. There is no simple factor in it. Its like suggesting we make all abilities able to be used as heals, it just totally overcomplicates things.

Why not just set debuffs to NamedCA's, then they'll only cast on named mobs, and if needed, you can force them.

I think slam666 would just like the ability, for anything that is currently classified as ca/namedca, to add it a debuff/nameddebuff.

Basically, anything that has CA as a dropdown option, also have debuff as an option.
