I am using V17.
I configured my tank to receive the broadcasts from my other clients. But when they receive a tell, the window does not open on my tank's screen. I tried it on another toon and it works fine there. I have tried to do a uireset but the window is not off the screen.

How do I go about trouble shooting this issue?

Take a screen shot of your 'Setup' tab, specifically the bottom left options.

How many computers are you using?

Send a tell where it pops up on 1 screen but not the other then in both consoles type:

UIElement -list
Then copy/paste it here.

For kicks... On the one that is not working hit the following:
Control + ~

Cause OgreIRC is active, and tells go to that window instead.

Hitting Control + ~ will show the window.
On the "Load" tab, you can uncheck the OgreIRC stuff. If this was a sample profile, which profile and I"ll remove it from the sample.

I went to load options. Turned everything off. Ended the bot and then loaded the bot.

I still do not get the mini window for tells.


prior to this I brought up the irc window thinking that was were they would go on this toon. but nothing ever showed up in that window either.

This was on my bezerker profile. the one that came with V17.

Close your entire eq2 session then reload it and try again.
Still waiting for that screen shot of your Setup tab.
Do the uielement -list thing again also.

attached is my setup screen.

It worked the first try after reloading the session.

But if you close that window it will not open again with the next tell you recieve. How can you open that window from the control counsel command line?

There's a MCP button, I believe it's something like.. TellWd, it reopens the tell window if it's been closed.
